Yesterday

Yesterday when I got off work I was admitted to the hospital. I was having contraction pains. They hooked me up to the machines and watched the baby until 7:00pm. Dr. Bowie is still out of town so Dr. Barachrick had to come up there and he did an ultrasound to see what was going on in there. When he did the ultrasound he said that the baby looked good and then he asked what the sex of the baby was and I told him I didn't know so he then looked and he told us that we are having a girl. They gave me a shot of something and it helped my stomach muscles relax, then he told me that I need to drink more water and take it easy. He wanted me to stay home but I told him that was impossible right now. So I have to really watch it so that we don't end back up in labor and delivery until Dec. Otherwise I feel fine and I am still working....for now!

Oh goodness, girl! I know that was scary! I'm glad everything looked okay with the baby though. At least you know what you are having now!... I know you were hoping for a boy, but Catelyn will share such a special bond with a sister as they grow up together. For now, listen to Dr. Bakarich.. water, water, water.. and I know taking it easy is difficult, but do try to when you can!
